Verify
The Verify page (/verify, and the Verify tab of every organism) asks Robinhood Chain directly from your browser, with plain JSON-RPC calls. It uses no library and no server of ours. Each row ends in one of three states.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| PROOF | the chain says so, at the block your browser just read |
| NO PROOF | the chain says otherwise, or the organism claims something the chain does not show |
| NOT CHECKABLE | a promise no on-chain read can show. It is never counted as proven |
The rows
| Row | What is read | What PROOF means |
|---|---|---|
| Pons knows this coin | the factory's record of the coin | the coin exists on Pons, with its curve and creator tax |
| Paired with ETH | the record's pair token | the curve is quoted in ETH, what the organism claims and spends |
| Fees go to the organism's wallet | the record's creatorFeeRecipient | it equals the wallet the organism publishes |
| A market to buy on | graduated() on the curve | buys on the curve, so hooks, are possible |
| The burn address holds what the journal says | token balance of 0x...dEaD | the chain holds at least the burned total in the journal (others may burn too) |
| The treasury is really in the wallet | ETH balance of the wallet | the wallet holds at least the treasury the organism accounts |
Burn 0x... (the last five) | the transaction receipt | success, and the logs show the burn transfer, within 3% of the journal's token count |
| Daily ceiling respected in the journal | the journal's own lines | no UTC day exceeds the ceiling (a journal check; the receipts above are the chain check) |
Dev payout 0x... (the last five) | the transaction and its receipt | success, sent to the published dev address, for the amount the journal says |
| Dev share equals the published percentage | the journal's own CLAIM lines | the share of claims the journal gives the dev matches the published percentage |
| No admin key, no Terrarium contract | nothing | NOT CHECKABLE: there is nothing to read |
Checking any coin
Paste any address. Without an organism wallet, the first rows still answer: does Pons know it, what is it paired with, who receives its fees, is it on its curve. This is useful on a coin you did not launch: the fee recipient tells you immediately who is paid.
What Verify cannot tell you
- That the wallet's key is held by the person who says so.
- That the operator will keep running the organism.
- That a model's sentence is true. Only the transactions are.
It is tested against refusals
The test suite checks that a wrong wallet, a forged token count (three times what was burned) and an unknown coin each get NO PROOF. See What is tested.
