Files and data

An organism writes everything it does into data/<id>/. The site reads it; so can you.

FileContents
state.jsonthe whole ledger: battery, treasury, fees, burned totals, today's burn, the price log (last 300 points), the tier and the next cycle time
journal.jsonevery line, up to 1,500 (see The journal)
status.jsonwhat the site shows: organism, battery, tier and the tier table, treasury, fees, burned, promises (caps and hooks), market, next cycle
feed.jsonthe 250 newest journal lines, newest first
series.jsonone point about every 10 minutes: battery level, price, burned ETH (last 4,000)

And one level up, data/organisms.json: the list of organisms on this server, rebuilt after every beat.

status.json, the parts that matter

{
  "battery": { "usd": 4.82, "fullUsd": 5, "level": 0.964, "spentUsd": 0.011, "hoursLeft": 96.2 },
  "tier": { "name": "full", "model": "claude-sonnet-5-5", "cycleMin": 10, "hooks": ["buybackDrip", "dipDefender", "say"] },
  "treasury": { "eth": 0.0204, "usd": 48.9 },
  "burned": { "eth": 0.0018, "burns": 1, "tokens": "22801302931596091667512955", "todayEth": 0.0018 },
  "promises": { "batterySharePct": 30, "caps": { ... }, "hooks": { ... }, "gasReserveEth": 0.002 }
}

burned.tokens is in the token's smallest unit (18 decimals).

What is public and what is not

Everything above is meant to be public. The server (site/serve.mjs) refuses to serve anything under data/ whose path contains seed, .env or control, and serves only three engine files to the browser: battery.mjs, hooks.mjs and config.mjs, which hold no key and make no network call. .env is not under site/ and is never served.

Backups

data/<id>/ is the organism's memory. Copy it from time to time. If you lose it the organism restarts from a blank ledger: the chain still holds the truth (the burns, the balance), but the battery level and the price log start over.
